What is Plasmage?

Our Plasmage - plasma laser - patented by Brera Technologies (in Italy) is considered one of the best minimally invasive treatments to lift and rejuvenate the upper and lower eyelids without cuts or stitches.
Plasmage is a laser that creates fractional plasma energy to evaporate the skin of the eyelids in a very safe, controlled and precise way.
The treatment consists multiple laser shots spaced closely together, these tiny plasma burns trigger a thermal-damage healing response, which helps to stimulate new collagen production to increase the skin's elasticity and firmness.
The results can be similar to those seen with surgery in mild to moderate eyelid aging.
THE TREATMENT
After an examination, your eyelids will be numbed with a topical gel for 30-40 min (in some sensitive patients we also numb them with local anesthesia). Then the laser tip is held 1-2 mm away from the surface of the skin, and multiple laser shots are delivered to the treatment area close together, this will evaporate the skin and lift the excess skin.
The treatment only last around 30-45 minutes depending on the size of the area being targeted.
AFTER YOUR TREATMENT
You are likely to feel a burning sensation after treatment, but that will usually disappear in a couple of hours. We will prescribe you an anti-inflammatory, cold compress, antibiotic ointment and FPS to keep the skin protected while it is healing. After a couple of days the dots will become crusts and the skin will be healing and improving day by day until the final result, which can take up to 4 weeks.
