What is Carboxytherapy?
The treatment consists in injecting a medical grade CO2 (carbon dioxide) into the dermis layer or the fatty layer beneath. The body’s natural response to having additional CO2 in it's system is to send oxygen to the target area and eliminate the excess CO2 taking it through the main bloodstream to the lungs to be exhaled.
By having this gas injected the body will have multiple benefits that will help with many conditions.
- Immediate vasodilation, which improves the microcirculation and increases oxygen in the area.
- Destroys pigments like hemosiderin, a pigment that accumulates specially in the lower eyelid making the eye look tired.
