what is endolift?
Endolift® is a non-surgical, minimally invasive laser procedure that works by inserting a fine micro-optical fiber beneath the skin. This delivers targeted laser energy, encouraging collagen regeneration while breaking down excess fat to create a firmer, lifted appearance. It’s commonly performed to address concerns like loose skin, prominent wrinkles, and double chins, providing a surgical alternative with little downtime and results that look natural, particularly on the face and neck.
In addition to facial rejuvenation, Endolift is also regarded as a modern alternative to facelift or neck lift surgery and can even be applied for body contouring.

how does it work?
Endolift uses a 1470nm laser and works through single-use microoptical fibre (as thin as hair), which is easily inserted under the skin into the superficial hypodermis. The laser energy selectively targets water and fat: effectively melting the fat while simultaneously stimulating collagen production. This causes immediate skin retraction and reduces skin laxity.
One treatment is usually recommended: this takes 1 to 2 hours and is performed under local anesthesia.

The results of Endolift take 3 to 6 months to be fully appreciated; however, this is patient dependent and many see visible results sooner.
Endolift targets the tightening of mild to moderate loose skin while allowing us to reduce submental and jowl fat – making it an impressive alternative to surgery and allowing for a gradual correction.
One session of Endolift is required; however, some patients may need a second treatment that can be repeated at 6 to 12 months. What is the recovery and downtime for Endolift?
After the Endolift procedure, you can go home immediately as it is performed in an outpatient setting. There’s no need for compression bandages or dressings. Following the treatment, you may experience redness and bruising, which typically settles within 1 to 2 weeks. Most patients can resume social activities within 1 to 2 weeks. After the treatment, you may also feel soreness, tenderness, and numbness for several weeks, but these are not permanent and will resolve in time.
What side effects can I expect after Endolift treatment?
After undergoing Endolift, you may experience swelling and bruising for up to approximately 1 week after the procedure. Like with any heating device, there is a risk of skin burns, discolouration, or nerve injury that may result in muscle weakness around the mouth for 3 to 6 months, although this is rare. Additionally, asymmetry and contour irregularities may occur, potentially requiring further treatment.

Endolift is considered safe when performed by a qualified and experienced practitioner. The procedure uses FDA-approved laser technology to tighten skin and reduce fat with minimal invasiveness compared to traditional surgery
am i a good candidate?
Endolift is suitable for all skin types and colours, but it’s not recommended for pregnant patients, those with a pacemaker, internal defibrillator, electronic implant, or permanent implant in the treatment area (like metal plates and screws), silicone implants, or injected chemical substances. It’s also not advised for those with a history of heat-stimulated diseases (such as recurrent Herpes simplex) or any active condition in the treatment area (like sores, psoriasis, eczema, and rashes).
