Ultherapy PRIME® is the newest generation of microfocused ultrasound (MFU) technology for non-surgical skin lifting and tightening. It is designed to lift the brow, tighten the skin of the face, neck, and under the chin, and improve lines and wrinkles on the upper chest (décolletage) by stimulating the body's natural collagen production.
Unlike lasers or radiofrequency devices that primarily treat the skin's surface, Ultherapy PRIME delivers focused ultrasound energy to precise depths beneath the skin, including the superficial musculoaponeurotic system (SMAS)—the same structural layer addressed during a surgical facelift.
how does ultherapy prime work?
Ultherapy PRIME uses microfocused ultrasound with real-time imaging (MFU-V) to visualize the tissue before delivering energy which makes it very safe.
The treatment works in three steps:
1. Real-Time Visualization
The device allows us to see the different tissue layers beneath the skin, ensuring ultrasound energy is delivered precisely where it will be most effective while avoiding unnecessary treatment of surrounding structures.
2. Precision Ultrasound Energy
Focused ultrasound creates tiny thermal coagulation points at specific depths (typically 1.5 mm, 3.0 mm, and 4.5 mm), without damaging the skin's surface.
These controlled thermal points trigger the body's natural wound-healing response.
3. Progressive Natural Collagen Regeneration
Over the following months, fibroblasts produce new collagen, elastin and structural support proteins to make the skin firmer, tighter and more defined.

How many treatments will I need?
Most patients achieve their desired results with a single treatment.
Depending on your skin condition, age, and collagen response, we may recommend:
- One initial treatment
- A maintenance treatment every 12–18 months to support ongoing collagen production
